Whit Recycling

Whit Recycling is a project aimed at helping people who are facing financial hardship. people who are referred to us by local organisations including West Whitlawburn Housing Co-operative,Citizens Advice Bureau and Blantyre and South Lanarkshire Credit Union

We accept donations of small non electrical household items. These items are all washed and ironed before they are handed back out. We stock a large variety of items that range from bedding, curtains and towers all the way through to knifes and forks.

Once a tenant is referred to us we asses what their needs are and what items they are most in need of and we try to supply them with a pack that caters to hem personally. We also have items that are not included in the packs that tenants can pick up like picture frames small bed side tables ect (these items are only available when we have them).

Everything we provide is FREE of charge.
